Bills Backers International

Bills Backers International (BBI) is an organization that registers individual Buffalo Bills fans throughout the World to create the “Ultimate Fan Network”. Through buffalobills.com, the official website of the Bills, BBI Chapters are set up as individual entities and schedule their own gatherings. Periodically, the Buffalo Bills will host a large scale with an invite list that includes all registered Bills Backers.

Four original clubs formed the original Bills Backers Association: Buffalo Bills Booster Club (formed in 1961), Bills Monday Quarterback Club (organized in 1978), Southern Tier Bills Booster Club (Dunkirk, NY), and Bills Backers, United Kingdom (formed in 1987). The Bills Backers program was formed in 1986 to organize existing Bills fan clubs with newly forming groups across the country and around the world. Presently, the top five Bills Backers areas with the largest memberships are New York City, Southern Florida, Southern California, and Boston. Recently, the following clubs have started to emerge as top chapters, in other cities: Raleigh-Durham Bills Backers, Bills Backers of Greensboro, NC, UK Bills Backers, and Nashville Bills Backers.

Currently, BBI has over 175 chapters with approximately 10,000 registered members located throughout all 50 states and 55 countries and growing bigger each day. Truly an international organization, Bills Backers Chapters have been registered around the globe with a large contingent in Canada as well as Germany, England, Japan, Hungary, Australia and the Bahamas.

This season the Buffalo Bills will be hosting an official Bills Backers Weekend during the days leading up to the Miami Dolphins game. Although the culminating event is the game against the Dolphins, the weekend will also feature Buffalo style entertainment and cuisine, along with countless surprises that would leave any die-hard Bills fan in football heaven. This will become an annual affair to remember.

Being part of the Bills Backers “Ultimate Fan Network” is a great way to meet and greet fellow Bills fans from around the country and the world. Individuals do not have to join a chapter to become a member and the program has many great benefits.
