On January 4, 2012 the Buffalo Bills announced a multi-year radio broadcasting partnership with Entercom Communications to broadcast all Bills football games on WGR (550 AM) in Buffalo beginning with the 2012 season. The Buffalo Bills Radio Network can also be heard on Entercom’s WCMF (96.5 FM) and WROC (950 AM) in Rochester as well as 19 stations throughout the New York State region.
John Murphy will continue to handle the play-by-play duties with the color commentary coming from former Bills defensive back Mark Kelso.
Murphy is entering his 27th season as part of the broadcast team and 10th as the play-by-play voice of the Bills.
Kelso enters his ninth season as the color analyst for the Buffalo Bills Radio Network. Known for his intelligence and savvy on the field, Kelso supplies those same intangibles to the Bills broadcast team. Kelso enjoyed an eight-year NFL career with Buffalo (1986-1993) and served as the starting free safety for the final seven seasons of his career.
Live play-by-play audio of every Bills game is available online from the official flagship radio station with the NFL Audio Pass. Fans can also access live WGR Bills coverage throughout the week on the Bills mobile app for smart phones.
