The John Murphy Show – hosted by Buffalo Bills radio play-by-play caller John Murphy – is entering its second year.

Presented by NOCO, The John Murphy Show broadcasts live throughout the year from One Bills Drive on weekdays from 7-9 pm and can be heard on the local airwaves via WGR 550 (Buffalo) and Sports Radio 950 AM ESPN (Rochester), as well as on your mobile device through the Buffalo Bills Mobile App. You can also get the John Murphy Show after it airs and on-the-go by downloading and subscribing to the nightly podcast.

The show will continue to provide nightly guests, player interviews, local call-in segments and unprecedented access to the team. Year one of The John Murphy Show featured more than 200 different guests joining the show, including exclusive interviews with guests ranging from national media personalities such as ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Berman to Bills head coach Doug Marrone and Bills Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly.

“As we move into the second year of the radio show, I’m very excited about what’s in store for the team and for our radio listeners.  I think we’ve established ourselves as the ‘go-to’ source of information and entertainment about the Bills on the radio,” said Murphy. “I love interacting with Bills fans from Western New York and all over the continent, and I look forward to hearing from more of them in the upcoming season.”

John Murphy will continue to handle the play-by-play duties with the color commentary coming from former Bills defensive back Mark Kelso. Kelso enters his seventh season as the color analyst for the Buffalo Bills Radio Network. Known for his intelligence and savvy on the field, Kelso will look to bring those same intangibles to the Bills broadcast team.

Kelso enjoyed an eight-year NFL career with Buffalo (1986-1993) and served as the starting free safety for the final seven seasons of his career.

Murphy, the former sports director at WIVB-TV in Buffalo, enters his 25th season as part of the broadcast team and ninth as the play-by-play voice of the Bills. New for 2012 is the addition of the John Murphy Show. The Show includes nightly guests, player interviews, local call-in segments and unprecedented access to the team.
