The Buffalo Bills were very busy last week in re-signing some of their own impending free agents inking four in a five-day span. Top wide receiver Stevie Johnson headlined a group that also included tight end
“We made both guys an offer,” Nix told Buffalobills.com. “We didn’t get one back, so I would say that chances are they will hit the market.”
Scott played primarily a hybrid nickel linebacker role for the Bills last season logging a good number of snaps in 2011. With 587 plays last year only eight other Buffalo defenders had more time on the field.
“I’ve always said Buffalo is home for me,” Scott told Buffalobills.com. “We’ll see what happens.”
Demetrius Bell was a player the Bills stated they’d like to have back in the fold at the beginning of the offseason. Bell also indicated he’d like to be back with Buffalo. The 27-year old has battled several injuries over the past couple of seasons. Whether that impacts his market price should he make it to the free agent market remains to be seen.
“I’m going to enjoy my family and pray about it and however the chips fall that’s how they fall,” Bell told Buffalobills.com.
