Posted Oct 19, 2017

Check out Brandon Reilly's Uber adventure, the latest move in linebacker Preston Brown's playbook, which former Bill got inducted in his college's hall of fame and more!

1. Brandon Reilly’s Uber adventure

Nothing gets in the way of Brandon Reilly making it to practice on time, even if that means taking an Uber all the way from Chicago, Illinois. Over the Bye Week, Reilly visited his alma mater – the University of Nebraska. After missing a connecting flight on his way home, Reilly looked into other transportation options to ensure he would be ready for practice at 8 a.m. on Monday. Similarly to Bills cornerback Shareece Wright, Reilly opted for Uber and made it right on time for the team’s early morning practice.

    2. There’s a brand-new play in Preston’s Playbook

Bills linebacker Preston Brown supported a September reading contest for the fourth graders at Pembroke Elementary. Each student in the grade competed to see who could read the most words. One lucky winner, received two tickets to an upcoming Bills game. Brown personally delivered the tickets and congratulated the entire grade on reading over 16.2 million words!

    3. Former Bill inducted into Coe College Hall of Fame

Former Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson and his brother Patrick Jackson were inducted into the Coe College Athletics Hall of Fame this past week. Jackson graduated from Coe College in 2003. The Jackson brothers were the only 2017 inductees.

    4. From players to fans for two Louisiana State University grads

Both Bills long snapper Reid Ferguson and cornerback Tre’Davious White showed their alma mater, LSU, support over the Bye Week. Ferguson and White attended the LSU vs. Auburn game, cheered for previous teammates and enjoyed the Tigers’ win.

    5. LeSean McCoy: High school football fanatic

Similar to his teammates, Bills running back LeSean McCoy spent the Bye Week cheering in the stands. McCoy supported a family member at a high school football game. Despite the team’s loss, McCoy was proud of the team’s effort.
