The Bills agreed to terms with WR Philly Brown on Sunday.

The Bills took a step toward rebuilding their wide receiver position signing free agent WR Corey ‘Philly’ Brown on Sunday.

Brown, 25, is a former undrafted rookie signing of the Carolina Panthers and has spent his entire NFL career with the club. The three-year veteran was a restricted free agent, but was not tendered a qualifying offer by the Panthers thereby making him unrestricted.

It’s the second Carolina Panther free agent signed by the Bills. They agreed to terms with FB Mike Tolbert last Wednesday.

He served primarily as Carolina’s third or fourth receiver the past three seasons logging 79 receptions for just over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns in his career.

Brown (5-11, 190) also has a bit of return experience. The Ohio State product is a Springfield, Pennsylvania native.
