Joint practices can be run in a variety of different ways. As the Bills and Steelers begin two days of practicing against each other, we lay out the format that was put together by head coaches Doug Marrone and Mike Tomlin for the sessions at St. Vincent’s College in Latrobe, PA.

Wednesday

2:55-3:10 – Offense/Defense walk thru – Steelers - Field #1, Bills - Field #3

3:10-3:20 – Pre-practice special teams – Steelers - Field #1, Bills - Field #3

3:20-3:30 – Warm up/Stretch – Steelers – Field #1, Bills – Field #3

3:30-3:50 – Individual/Fundamental groups – Field #1

3:50-4:05 – Competition Period – Field #1 – TEs & RBs vs. LBs passing; Field #2 WRs vs. DBs 1-on-1 pass coverage

4:05-4:15 – Team Segment – Steelers offense – Field #1, Bills offense – Field #2

4:15-4:25 – Special Teams – Field #2

4:25-4:35 – Team segment – Steelers offense – Field #1, Bills offense – Field #2

4:35-4:45 – Team Segment – Steelers offense – Field #1, Bills offense – Field #2

4:45-4:55 – Special Teams – Field #2

4:55-5:10 – 7-on-7 – Steelers offense – Field #1, Bills offense – Field #2
