There were some names that have become familiar to Bills fans that were trimmed from Buffalo’s roster Saturday as the club cut 22 players from their roster prior to the 6 pm deadline to get down to the required 53 while also placing four players on waived-injured and one on injured reserve.
“Every decision today is a difficult decision,” said head coach Chan Gailey. “There are no easy decisions. It involves their life, their profession, their goals and their dreams and that’s the hardest day of the year for me. But you make decisions for a lot of different reasons.”

Buffalo also announced that SS Jon Corto, WR Felton Huggins, LB Jammie Kirlew and T Ed Wang have been Waived/Injured. In addition they placed RB
“We make decisions based on knowledge, insight and opinion and what we feel is best for the opportunity to beat Kansas City and for the future of our football team,” said Gailey. “Each individual decision is on its own merit. It’s tough every year.”
