Final preseason game blacked out

Posted Aug 26, 2013

The final Bills preseason game of 2013 will be blacked out on local television.

Thursday’s preseason game against the Detroit Lions at 7 p.m. at Ralph Wilson Stadium has not sold out and will be blacked out on local television. Fans should check their local TV listings for re-broadcast information.

Fans interested in attending Thursday’s game are urged to purchase tickets in advance online at buffalobills.com, ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-877-BB-TICKS (1-877-4257). Season tickets for the 2013 season can still be obtained in the club seat areas of the stadium.

In honor of USA Football Month and those who actively participate in Heads Up Football, the Buffalo Bills will host members of the Hill Butler Giants from Buffalo City Youth Football and Cheer and South Olean Youth Football from the Olean Area Youth Football League to form Stampede Row during pregame player introductions. At the conclusion of the first half, the Caledonia-Mumford Youth Football and Le Roy Youth Football teams – both of the Community Youth Football League – will square off in a halftime scrimmage.

Heads Up Football is a comprehensive youth football membership program developed by USA Football and supported by the NFL to further strengthen youth player safety. Thursday’s game will include Heads Up Football field stencils, graphics on the Diamond Vision scoreboard to celebrate the movement and a Heads Up Football banner on the stadium ringwall that will remain in place throughout the football season.
