Hubbard back on practice squad
Released from the 53-man roster late last week to address a shortage at the fullback position, wide receiver Paul Hubbard was added to the practice squad Tuesday.
Hubbard had been part of the team’s practice squad for most of the season, but was called up to the 53-man roster on Nov. 10th after ![]()
In addition the team signed LB Jammie Kirlew (pronounced JAY-me) and DL Kommonyan (Ko) Quaye to the team’s practice squad.
Kirlew originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round (232nd overall) draft selection of Denver in the 2010 Draft and was released prior to the regular season. The 6-3, 264-pound linebacker earned All-Big Ten Conference accolades twice at Indiana where he tied for third on the school’s all-time sacks list with 23.0 and his 52.5 tackles for a loss tied for second on the Hoosier’s list.
Quaye joins the Bills after being released from the Jaguars’ practice squad on October 5th. The 6-1, 307-pound defensive lineman originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Jacksonville in 2010.
A four-year letterwinner at South Dakota Quaye posted 99 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks and one interception in his career while earning first-team All-Great West Conference honors as a senior in 2009.
