Buffalobills.com has learned that one veteran free agent will be at One Bills Drive Wednesday for a workout in quarterback Vince Young.
Young spent last season with the Philadelphia Eagles, appearing in six games making three starts. He completed just under 58 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and nine interceptions with a passer rating of 60.8.
The former number three overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft, Young is being viewed strictly as a potential backup quarterback option for the Bills.
Young, who turns 29 later this month, is 31-19 in his career as a starting quarterback with a career passer rating of 74.4, 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions. He also has 12 rushing touchdowns in his six NFL seasons.
