Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcus Stroud hosted the inaugural “Pins for HOPE” bowling fundraiser to benefit the Marcus Stroud Charitable Foundation (MSCF) on Friday, October 30th, at Manor Lanes II in Amherst.

Stroud’s teammates in attendance included Chris Ellis, Lee Evans, Drayton Florence, James Hardy, Justin Jenkins, Spencer Johnson, Rian Lindell, John McCargo, Brian Moorman, Terrell Owens, Roscoe Parrish, Paul Posluszny, Donte Whitner and George Wilson.  The Bills football players bowled with many excited fans at the event, threw some strikes, had some fun with the fans and supported a good cause. 

MSCF, along with the Buffalo City Mission, also hosted a coat, hat, scarf and glove drive at the event to help less fortunate individuals in the region during the winter months. 

The winning team of bowlers included Mike Adamek, Justin Jenkins and Dave "Hojo" Hojnowski.  The overall individual winner was Mike Adamek.

“The Pins for HOPE event was a tremendous success and I am very overwhelmed by the great support MSCF has received,” said Stroud. “This event will help us make a strong impact in the Buffalo community.” 
 
The fun event was sponsored by Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning, Citadel Broadcasting and Manor Lanes II.

All proceeds from the Pins for HOPE Bowling Fundraiser go to the Marcus Stroud Charitable Foundation.

The Marcus Stroud Charitable Foundation (MSCF) is dedicated to supporting children who face significant physical, mental and financial challenges in a single parent home. Their goal is to help enhance and enrich the lives of disadvantaged children by establishing various academic and athletic programs otherwise unavailable to them.
