The Bills have provided themselves with some immediate security should another defensive back go down to injury. The club signed Dustin Fox to the team’s practice squad Wednesday morning.
Fox originally joined the Bills last year on Sept. 19 and spent eight weeks on the team’s practice squad before being promoted to the 53-man roster for the final six weeks of the season. He was with the Bills throughout training camp and was released prior to the start of this season.
With 
Fox, offers depth at both safety and cornerback and was used at both positions in training camp this past summer.
Originally drafted in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, he spent the ’05 season on injured reserve. Fox appeared in one game for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2006 and has played in seven games in his career.
