Week two of OTAs began in earnest on Tuesday afternoon. Coming off the holiday weekend the players had to shake the rust off a bit, but got up to speed pretty quickly. Making it in for his first voluntary practice was ![]()
The fullback was just happy to be on a football field again after handling some of his legal dealings the past week.
“Difficult. It’s been difficult,” said McIntyre of his off the field circumstances. “But that’s the only thing I’m going to say about that. And that’s all I’m going to comment about the situation because my lawyers told me that.”
McIntyre, who missed all of the voluntary workouts last week, plans to be in attendance for the remainder of the offseason workouts.
“(This is) the first time I’ve ever been away from football that long,” McIntyre said. “I’m a Bill, that’s why I want to be here right now. This is my team, so I’m going to be here.”

“Coach has us in a good call and put me in a good situation and I did what I was supposed to do which was react to the ball and (I) got the interception,” said Corner.
The second-year defensive back has looked sharp and appears to be playing faster than he did last year as a rookie.
“You learn the system more, get more experience and you feel a lot better on the field and you’re not thinking as much,” Corner said. “So definitely it’s going to be a better year for me I feel.”
Nelson focusing on pass game
Pass receiving is considered a strength of ![]()
Nelson is trying to absorb the finer points of Buffalo’s passing game knowing the pass concepts at Southern Miss were a bit more basic than what he has encountered in the Bills’ playbook.
“Everything does come fast because there’s so much you’ve got to know and so much you’ve got to read and then the audibles come into play,” said Nelson. “You’ve got to read a lot and know a lot at the same time. That’s the biggest thing for me right now. Once I get that down I’ll be fine.”
The offensive staff likely figures that Nelson is more likely to be helping Buffalo’s attack with his receiving skills than his all-around tight end skills right off the bat, so they’re having him focus on his strengths to make that part of his game as NFL ready as possible.
