Q: Did you get a good rest and are you mentally/physically ready to get back at it?

A: Absolutely. I think everybody was able to get away from it for a couple of days. Hopefully it is a break that we all took advantage of and now we are back. Ready to start working on the Texans.

Q: There is a lot of talk about guys just not getting to the plays that they should and that is why long runs are not being broken up. I find it hard to believe in Week Seven that would still be happening.

A: For whatever the reason, something that we are really stressing and focusing on this week is just getting everybody to the football. A lot of the plays that have hit us, if we are flying around, playing fast and getting everybody to the football as fast as we can, we will be able to make up for some of those times we might be out of the gaps. It is going to happen throughout the course of a game. That is something that we are going to have to really focus in on and hone in on. Just take a different approach and mentality it takes to play consistent football.

Q: If ever there is a time to do it, this weekend might be the best because RB Arian Foster is among the league’s best if not the best.

A: Yeah, absolutely. The scheme that they run, we know we have our work cut out for us. They are a great team. Their record shows that. We are going to go down there with a huge job this week. We are going to prepare all week to play our best football thus far this year on Sunday.

Q: DE Mario Williams just indicated to us he feels a lot better after having the surgery. What might it mean to have a Mario Williams back who is closer to 100-percent?

A: It will be great for us. He is a heck of a ball player and it is good that he was able to take advantage of the bye and get healthy. We are all looking forward to that.

Q: Can you tell a difference showing up at the stadium of everybody just being more positive?

A: Without a doubt. Guys are focused. It was good to take care of some injuries, get off of that, come back and get yourself mentally prepared to go through this run that we have ahead of us. Guys are definitely upbeat and ready to take on this challenge.

Q: What are your initial indications on Houston?

A: Good defense. One of the best, if not the best defense we will see this year. J.J. (Watt) is playing out of his mind right now, so it will be a good challenge for us but for us to get to where we want to be we know we have to play teams like this. We get to go down to their place which is going to be a tough thing for us to do. We like what we have got here and what we can do. It will be a good challenge for us, but we are looking forward to it.

Q: It is two teams that kind of grind it out on the ground. You guys are pretty productive on the ground and so are they. Do you like the challenge of matching them rush-for-rush, so to speak?

A: Without a doubt. They have two great backs in Arian (Foster) and (Ben) Tate. It will be good for us. We know that they want to get the ground game started and that is the way to keep us off of the field. Likewise, between C.J. (Spiller) and I, if we can get the running game going and get some production out of us we think we could give ourselves a chance to do some good things too.

Q: Since you and RB C.J. Spiller have gone to the every two-series alternating, has that helped you get into the flow of the game more or do you need more carries to get into the flow? I know as games get later you normally get better because you get into a flow of things. Has this worked well for you getting the every two series?

A: It has worked. It is about just finding that groove and getting into it. It is not always going to be perfect but as long as we both can go out there, stay fresh and continue to make plays then we will do what we can to make this thing work. I think that is what it is about. Going out there, getting some production out of both of us and making this unit go.
