The exact time frame is still to be determined for Bills defensive end ![]()
“Well he’s going to miss significant time,” Bills GM Buddy Nix told Buffalobills.com. “We don’t know exactly how long it’ll be yet. We should know by tonight or first thing in the morning how long it’ll be, but we do know that he’s out right now.”
The injury is not of the season-ending variety, but Anderson is seeing renowned orthopedist Dr. James Andrews for surgery.
“He looks like he needs surgery and I don’t know how long he’s going to be out,” said head coach Chan Gailey. “They’re going to tell us after they go in and look at (his knee).”
“He’s seeing a doctor today and we’ll know more about that after today, and we should know within reason how long a time we’re talking about,” Nix said.
With Anderson out this week it leaves Buffalo with just three defensive ends for the Arizona game in ![]()

“We’ve got three defensive ends right now and those guys are going to have to go in there and make it happen,” said Gailey.
Johnson is unlikely to play Sunday, but it’s more than likely that Buffalo also goes into Sunday’s game against Arizona with just three defensive tackles in ![]()
