Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso spoke to the media after a fice-tackle, two-interception game helping the Bills beat the Ravens 23-20.

Q: The offense closed one out earlier in the season against Carolina. Does it feel nice as a defense to close this one out?

A: Yeah we knew it was in our hands. We were up two scores when the fourth quarter started, so we knew it was in our hands.

Q: Do you think the offensive pace at Oregon prepared you for life in the NFL?

A: Yeah, Oregon had a ton of great players on the offensive side of the ball. We had a lot of fast players, so it definitely helped.

Q: Are you surprised with the amount of success you have had so early in the season?

A: No, I don’t think about that. I just go and play my hardest. I’m just trying to get better every single day and that’s all I care about.

Q: Can you talk about the production from the rookies this season? Is there a sense of pride because you are all so young?

A: It was a team effort. It wasn’t just the rookies. The rookies are out there like everybody else. We’re just trying our hardest. We’re just all trying to make plays and help the team win.
