The Buffalo Bills got to work on their lengthy list of prospective free agents this offseason two weeks before the offseason arrived. The club signed starting right guard
Picked up off waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 5, 2010, Urbik, now 27-years old, has developed into a reliable starting guard for Buffalo.

Urbik, who has started 24 games over the past two seasons, has helped pave the way for Buffalo’s highly productive rushing attack that finished fifth in yards per carry average last season (4.9) and 13th in rushing. This year the Bills run game currently ranks sixth in the league in rushing and is tied for third in yards per carry average.
The fourth-year guard was also part of a unit that surrendered the fewest sacks in 2011.
For the Bills it’s a good start to what will be a busy offseason as the club faces the challenge of trying to keep a lot of their quality young talent in the fold for the future.
