The Buffalo Bills have lost Roscoe Parrish for the season due to injury for the second consecutive year. The club placed the wide receiver on injured reserve with an ankle injury, suffered in last Sunday's game against Oakland.

Head coach Chan Gailey confirmed on Monday that Parrish’s injury was “more long term than short term” and did not rule out injured reserve as a possibility for the slot receiver.

Parrish, 29, missed the last half of the 2010 season due to a fractured wrist.

Taking his spot on the roster Tuesday was WR Naaman Roosevelt, who was promoted from the Bills practice squad. Roosevelt appeared in six regular season games last season for Buffalo as an undrafted rookie after serving the first half of the 2010 campaign on the practice squad.

Buffalo also took advantage of the newly vacant practice squad spot signing rookie guard Keith Williams.

Williams (6'5" 310) was a sixth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers this past spring. He was a 2nd team All-Big 12 selection as a senior at Nebraska where he appeared in 50 games with 34 starts.
