Buffalo’s wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell will not have his father, Jack, at the game this weekend, and it’s because Jack’s other son (Jack Jr.) is the offensive line coach for the Chiefs. Jack Bicknell was a great coach at Boston College, and best known for being there the day of Doug Flutie’s legendary Hail Mary pass. Jack said he never could understand why “the other guy” got the start over Flutie for the Bills. Bicknell also commented on head coach Chan Gailey, who Jack coached against in college, saying, I have a ton of respect for Chan.”
Local film makers Phil Gangi and Pete Tasca stopped by their studio to talk about their new documentary “Almost a Dynasty,” reflecting on the Buffalo Bills in the 1990’s. Their angle was to show people that Buffalonians don’t look at that era with dismay, but with pride that our team could be so dominant for so long. For more info on the film, click here.
