Injury Report | Jerry Hughes questionable for Sunday

A day after being limited in practice on Thursday with a groin injury, DE Jerry Hughes was a non-participant in practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Miami.

"He's day to day," said McDermott of Hughes following Friday's practice. "He's had a little bit of (a groin issue) before, but it kind of flared up (Thursday)."

Hughes has been an iron man. He has never missed a game in his six-plus seasons with the Bills. In fact, Hughes has a streak of 124 consecutive appearances, which currently stands second in the NFL among defensive ends to New Orleans Cam Jordan.

Whether the flare up with his groin is enough to keep him from playing this weekend will likely be determined just before game time.

If for some reason Hughes cannot play on Sunday, Shaq Lawson would start in his place at right defensive end.

Meanwhile rookie TE Dawson Knox is good to go for Sunday.

He missed Thursday's practice due to what coach McDermott called knee soreness. On Thursday, McDermott called the issue minor and Knox did return to practice fully on Friday.
