COMMUNITY: In 2010, Arthur participated in the Toyota Rookie Club appearing at numerous community events throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario. The Toyota Rookie Club helps the franchises newest players become more involved in the Western New York community. Each month, Arthur and all first year players did one community appearance as a group. The Toyota Rookie Club events included a visit to the Buffalo Zoo to celebrate the 12th Annual Hometown Huddle, a visit to the North York YMCA in North York, Ontario to unveil a new Youth Zone and a trip to the Northwest Buffalo Community Center in November where the Rookie Club members served Thanksgiving Dinner to approximately 350 children and families. In addition to serving food, the players introduced themselves to the community members during a brief ceremony, sat and ate with them, and signed autographs. The final Rookie Club appearance of 2010 took place at the Annual Bills Holiday Party. The Rookie Club hosted 100 children from a number of different local community organizations. The Annual Holiday Party gives children from the organizations an opportunity to celebrate the holidays with the Bills players, Jills cheerleaders, Billy Buffalo and Santa Claus.

In addition to Arthur’s Rookie Club appearances, he went above and beyond his rookie season and participated in many community events to show his support. In July of 2010, Arthur along with Levi Brown, Naaman Roosevelt and Torell Troup participated in the IZOD Street Party and Pit Stop Challenge in Toronto, Ontario. In addition to participating in the Pit Stop Challenge and Street Party, Arthur met with fans, signed autographs and posed for pictures.

Arthur along with many of his other teammates spent a day in July with the children of Stone’s Buddies at the Buffalo Zoo. Arthur helped the children with arts and crafts, took them on a tour of the zoo, signed autographs and posed for pictures with the children and their families.

Along with many of his teammates, Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo became a favorite place to visit for Arthur. Throughout the months of May, June and July, Bills players hosted a Cinco-de-Mayo party, Garden Stone Decorating parties and a Christmas in July party in the oncology and surgical floor playrooms. Players not only participated in arts and crafts, they also visited with patients and their families, signed autographs and posed for pictures.

Arthur also participated in the Bills and NFL’s Annual High School Player Development (H.S.P.D.) camp which focuses on character development and specific football-skill training.

Arthur attended both the Kickoff Celebration and the Play 60 Fitness Party held in the Buffalo Bills Fieldhouse. Arthur along with his teammates helped the students in attendance understand the importance of staying active for 60 minutes a day and assisted in running the football-themed fitness stations.

Arthur and his teammates showed support for the Feed the Children organization when a tractor trailer of food was donated to the Food Bank of WNY. Arthur helped load boxes of food into the vehicles of 400 families, which were selected by the Food Bank of WNY.

He also supported his teammate Drayton Florence and the Drayton Florence Foundation by attending their annual Holiday Shopping event. Drayton adopted 29 children and took them shopping for gifts that were on their wish list. Arthur and many other players came out to support Drayton and helped the young men shop for gifts. Arthur also supported his teammate George Wilson and his S.A.F.E.T.Y. Foundation by attending their Thanksgiving event at Northwest Buffalo Community Center.
