Switched to defensive end from defensive tackle his senior season ...in two seasons at Wyoming he had 22 tackles, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and 8.5 tackles for loss...2005 was his first season competing at the NCAA Division I-A level after transferring to Wyoming from Palomar Community College in California…played in all 11 games as a junior that year...earned Second Team All-Mission Conference honors at Palomar Community College in 2004...recorded 51 tackles, including 7.0 sacks and 10 tackles for losses...was elected a team captain his sophomore season... recorded a total of 12 sacks in two seasons at Palomar…was recruited by Michigan State, Oregon State and Washington coming out of junior college...Majored in criminal justice.

PERSONAL: 
Named the Top Defensive Lineman in the Province of British Columbia after his senior year at Port Moody Secondary School...Defensive Player of the Year at his high school…MVP of his high school basketball team…chosen as his school’s athlete of the year...son of mother Virginia Jacobsen and stepfather Mike Jacobsen; father John Mace and stepmother Tausha Mace...wants to one day become a probation officer.

COMMUNITY:
In 2007, Corey was a member of the Toyota Rookie Club. The Toyota Rookie Club helps the franchises newest players become more involved in the Western New York community.  Each month, Corey and all first year players did one community appearance as a group.  During the 2007 season the Rookie Club visited Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, participated in an assembly at Sir Sanford Fleming Academy in Toronto, ON, served Thanksgiving Dinner at Northwest Buffalo Community Center, and hosted the Annual Bills Holiday Party for children at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
