PRO: Promoted to the 53-man roster on November 21 after being signed to the Bills’ practice squad on November 12, 2008, after being released prior to the season… Promoted to the 53-man roster on November 23, 2007 after being signed to the Bills’ practice squad as an unrestricted free agent on September 19, 2007… Was released by Philadelphia on September 1…. Signed by the Eagles (9/4/06) after being waived by Minnesota (9/2/06)… Originally entered the NFL as a 2005 Minnesota Vikings draft pick (3rd round, 80th overall).

COLLEGE:  Graduated with a degree in communications and was a three-time scholar-athlete and two-time CoSIDA District IV All-Academic Team honoree at Ohio State University.

PERSONAL:  Was a first-team Division I AP All-Ohio selection on defense in both his junior and senior year at Glen Oak HS in Canton, OH and was named a SuperPrep first-team All-America selection. Started for three years in high school and recorded two INT’s while rushing for 1,351 yards with 10 touchdowns as a senior. Also lettered four times in track and basketball. Is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Athletes in Action during college. Brother, Derek, played at Penn State and with the Indianapolis Colts from 2000-01. His uncle, Tim, was a 1st round draft choice of New England in 1976 out of Ohio State and played 11 seasons in the NFL with the Patriots (1976-81), San Diego (1982-84) and the LA Rams (1985-1986). His uncles Kenny Kuhn, Dick Kuhn and Mark Stier also started at Ohio State. Parents are Jean and Randy. Randy has been a talk-radio personality on WJER’s morning show in Dover, OH for over 30 years.
