PRO:  Signed by Buffalo as a reserve future signing on January 27, 2009… spent the 2008 season with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League… Allocated by Miami to NFL Europe in 2007 after signing with the Dolphins on January 2, 2007 after being released by the Bengals… Signed with Cincinnati as a free agent on February 1, 2006… Originally entered the NFL as a fifth-round (164th overall) draft choice by New England in 2004.

CAREER: Played two games in reserve role as rookie with Patriots in 2004…made NFL debut at Buf. (10/3/04).

COLLEGE: At Florida State, played wide receiver, running back, tight end and saw action at kick returner... started 13 of 35 games at split end during his career, hauling in 76 catches for 1,066 yards and seven touchdowns… added 74 yards on four kickoff returns (18.5 avg.), 30 yards on six punt returns, seven yards on three carries and a solo tackle on special teams… started every game as junior in 2003 at split end, ranking second on the team with a career-high 50 receptions for 735 yards and five touchdowns… named the team’s Most Dependable Receiver in 2002… played in 11 games, tallying 15 catches for 173 yards… caught two passes for 11 yards in the Georgia Sugar Bowl… was the only true freshman on the team to play in every game in 2001… ranked sixth on the team with 11 receptions for 158 yards and two touchdowns.

PERSONAL: He and wife Nicole were married in June 2009… couple has a six year old daughter, Brooklynn, and recently welcomed another child in January of 2009… lists Guitar Hero as his favorite video game, enjoys movies and likes any musical artists from Georgia… born in Colorado but raised in Buford, Georgia where he attended Buford High School and earned All-State Class A First-Team honors and conference/county player of the year as a senior… parents, Letta and Philip Sam….
