  • Appeared in eight games as a rookie and finished fourth on the team with 11 special teams tackles
  • Made his NFL debut in a reserve role vs. BUF (9/10)
  • Led the team with a season-high four special teams tackles vs. DET (12/3)
  • Posted a solo stop on special teams in the divisional playoffs vs. SD (1/14) and helped knock Eric Parker off the ball after he muffed a punt, allowing David Thomas to recover the fumble
  • Finished first on the squad in the AFC Championship game at IND (1/21) with two special teams tackles

 

COLLEGE: 2005: Played in all 12 games, making five starts at linebacker while recording 24 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, one pass defensed and two forced fumbles… 2004: Saw action in 12 games, notching 22 tackles, one stop for a loss and a fumble recovery… 2003: Started all 13 games at outside linebacker and recorded 68 tackles as a sophomore, which ranked second-best on the team en route to All-Big Ten second-team accolades... notched five tackles, including two stops for loss and 1.0 sack vs. Southern California in the Rose Bowl… 2002: Appeared in all 13 games as a redshirt freshman… 2001: Did not see any playing time as a freshman.

 

PERSONAL: A two-year letterwinner at Glenville (Cleveland, OH) High School under the direction of coach Ted Ginn, Sr. and teammates of current Buffalo Bills S Donte Whitner and the 49ers’ Ted Ginn Jr., and Troy Smith… recorded 173 tackles and 42.0 sacks along with seven forced fumbles and one interception… caught 34 passes for 581 yards and 13 touchdowns as a tight end… registered 92 tackles, 26.0 sacks, five forced fumbles and one interception during senior campaign and was a USA Today High School All-America second-team selection….four-year letterman and three-year starter on the varsity basketball squad… majored in General Studies… supported of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation’s Race for Research and the Tufts Floating Hospital for Children in Boston… enjoys spending time with his family which includes his wife Doris, son Pierre Jr., and daughters, Paris, Daylee and Demi, as well as all the children he has worked with and helped.
