2013

Played in and started 14 games as he made the transition form cornerback to safety. Finished with a career-high 82 tackles and tied for the team lead with a career-high four interceptions.

Vs. NE (9/8):  Made his first career start at safety and tied for a team-high nine tackles.

Vs. CAR (9/15):  Had a team-high and set a career-high with 12 tackles including one tackle for loss.

At NYJ (9/22):  Started the game at safety but shifted to cornerback after injuries hit the secondary.  Totaled four tackles on the day.

Vs. BAL (9/29):  Made first start of the season at CB, posted two interceptions for his first career multi-INT game.  Combined with Alonso’s two interceptions, Buffalo produced two players with multi-INT games for the first time since 9/6/92 vs. LA Rams (Henry Jones and Nate Odomes). ... Added four passes defensed and two tackles.

At CLE (10/3):  Started his second consecutive start at cornerback and had five tackles on the night.

Vs. CIN (10/13):  Started at cornerback for the third consectutive week and posted two tackles and one pass defensed.

At MIA (10/20):  Tied for the team-lead with six tackles and added an interception in the end zone to halt a potential Miami scoring drive.

At NO (10/27):  Returned to safety and posted six tackles.

Vs. KC (11/3):  Tied for a team-high eight tackles and added a pass defensed.

At PIT (11/10):  Tallied five tackles including one tackle for loss and a pass defensed.  Now has set a new single-season high in PBUs with eight.

Vs. NYJ (11/17):  Produced 10 tackles and one pass defensed.  Helped the defense yield a season-low 12 completions.

Vs. ATL (12/1):  Posted seven tackles and one pass defensed.

At TB (12/8):  Recored two tackles.

At Jac (12/15):  Made a number of game-changing plays - interception in first quarter and forced fumble on Denard Robinson at one-yard line saving a touchdown.  Ball went out of end zone for touchback.  Added four tackles and a pass defensed.

At Mia (11-20):  Saw first action in six weeks, posted one tackle.

At NYJ (11-27):  Earned second career start.  Produced two tackles and one pass defensed.

Vs. Mia (12-18):  Led CBs with six tackles.  Added a pass defensed and posted his first forced fumble.  Fumble was recovered by George Wilson and led to a Bills TD by CJ Spiller in the first quarter.

Vs. Den (12-24):  Recorded his 1st career interception in the 4th quarter ... Totaled five tackles and added two passes defensed ... Pass defense held Tim Tebow to a 35.4 passer rating.

2009: Made 13 starts at cornerback… part of a defense that ranked 12th in the nation, yielding 16.7 points per game, third in total defense (251.9 yards per game), first in rushing (72.4 yards per game), 10th in pass efficiency defense (100.5 rating)… registered 44 tackles (25 solo), 2.0 sacks, six stops for losses, three quarterback pressures, three interceptions, eight pass break-ups and two forced fumbles… secondary led the nation in interceptions (25)… tallied five tackles and an interception in the Big 12 title game vs. No. 21 Nebraska… added three tackles and two pass break-ups in the BCS Championship game vs. No. 1 Alabama

2008: Saw action in all 13 games, making one start at cornerback and on special teams as a true freshman… part of a defense that ranked first in the Big 12 in scoring defense (18.8 points per game)… posted 16 tackles, three passes defensed, one quarterback pressure, one stop for a loss, fumble recovery and a forced fumble… set a Texas single-season school mark with four blocked punts… returned an interception 81 yards for a touchdown… ranked tied for second on the team with nine special teams tackles… credited with a tackle and his first career interception that was returned for an 81-yard touchdown vs. Arkansas – the play is the seventh-longest interception-return in Longhorn history.
