COLLEGE: Started 22 of 36 games at Ohio State including his last 21 contests…totaled 131 tackles (103 solos) with two sacks for 8 yards and nine stops for losses of 22 yards…recovered a fumble and blocked one kick while deflecting 23 passes…gained 79 yards on five interception returns and also had a 2-yard punt return…enrolled at Ohio State in 2003 during the 2003 Winter Quarter…participated in spring drills… tested everyday in practice by former OSU receivers Santonio Holmes, Anthony Gonzalez and Ted Ginn … as a junior in 2005 was an All-Big Ten Conference first-team selection…ranked fourth on the team with 56 tackles (43 solos) playing strong-side cornerback…had a 1-yard sack, six stops for losses of 13 yards and a forced fumble…intercepted one pass and credited with nine deflected passes, also blocked a kick…helped the team rank nationally in total defense (281.33 ypg) and scoring defense (15.25 ppg). as a sophomore in 2004, played in all 12 games and had nine starts…finished the season with 61 tackles (47 solos), the fifth highest total on the team …tied for the Big Ten lead in interceptions with four…led the team in passes broken up with 14 … Graduated with a degree in family finance management.

PERSONAL: Recorded 60 tackles with three interceptions as a senior at Klein (Tex.) High School…averaged over 10 yards per punt return as a junior… Led his team to a win over Cy Falls High when he blocked a field goal to send the game into overtime and then an extra point attempt in OT to win the game…Also competed in track, recording a personal-best long jump of 22- feet…Finished second in the 100 and 200-meter dashes at the district track meet as a junior….born in Liberia and moved to Philadelphia when he was age four…he then moved to Texas in the eighth grade. Brother Yousif plays football at Erie County Community College … youngest brother John is a freshman defensive end at Marshall University. Sister, Masanghai is a graduate of Chico State.
