COLLEGE:  Played in 43 games with 22 starts (2002-05) as a consistent player at Arizona after walking-on team as a freshman…. Finished with 109 tackles, 14 sacks, 21 TFLs, 11 PBUs, blocked 1 kick, forced 2 fumbles and recovered 2…. Started nine games his senior year, notching a team-high 7.5 sacks and 10.5 TFLs on 39 tackles… Following senior season, played in the All-American Classic All-Star game… Recorded 15 tackles and 1 sack as a junior and played in 12 games with 10 starts as a linebacker his sophomore year… Added 29 tackles, 19 solo, along with 2.5 TFLs and 3 PBUs in 11 games with 3 starts as a linebacker…. Started 3 out of 11 games played as a freshman contributing 26 total tackles with 15 solos and 7.5 TFLs… Graduated with degree in political science.

PERSONAL:  Lettered in football and track at Bellarmine College Prep School (San Jose, CA) and participated in the triple jump and long jump at the Junior Olympics while in high school … brother, Courtney Bryan, is currently a DB for the Miami Dolphins.

COMMUNITY: Copeland participated in the Buffalo Bills Hometown Huddle with children from the Belle Center in Buffalo, a United Way of Buffalo & Erie County Community Care funded agency. Guests attended an assembly focusing on various life skills such as nutrition, health & fitness, responsibility, and teamwork before enjoying a pizza party in their newly remodeled teen room.  Copeland has also attended the Annual Bills Holiday Party with over 100 children from various community organizations.  At the Annual Bills Holiday Party, the children received a holiday dinner, pictures and autographs, and gifts from a wish list that they had previously submitted.
