• 2011: First team All-Pac-12 Conference selection...finished with 52 tackles, four pass breakups, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble despite missing three games with injury has made 33 starts in the secondary over the last three seasons after transitioning from running back in spring of 2008...has recorded 190 career total tackles to rank as Stanford’s active career leader...also tops all active players with six career interceptions...ranked as the team’s third-leading tackler six games into the season with 25 stops...however, missed the next three games against Washington, USC and Oregon State with a hand injury...returned to action for the Oregon game...finished with five tackles and a forced fumble...had seven tackles and a fumble recovery against Cal...had a season-high eight tackles, including six solo stops against Notre Dame...registered seven total tackles in the Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma State...named the recipient of the Jack Huston Award, awarded to the player who best exemplifies aggressiveness, exceptional performance and unheralded efforts.

• 2009: Honorable mention All-Pac-10 selection in his first season at the strong safety position...finished the season as the team’s second-leading tackler with 78 stops, including 52 solo efforts...also had two interceptions, three pass breakups and one fumble recovery...played in 12 games and made 11 starts, missing the Arizona game with an injury...had nine or more tackles in five games...led the team in tackles in each of the last four games, totaling 36 stops during that stretch...made his first career start at Washington State in the season opener and finished with a team-high nine tackles...had two interceptions in Stanford’s 34-14 win over No. 24 Washington...marked the first time a Stanford player had two interceptions in one game since Nick Sanchez vs. California in 2007...credited with nine tackles at Oregon State...had a career- high 15 tackles against California, including two solo stops...along with Chris Marinelli, was the recipient of the Frank Rehm Award, a team award honoring the outstanding offensive and defensive players in the Big Game.
• 2008: Was one of eight true freshmen to see action...appeared in nine games...made his collegiate debut against San Jose State...rushed nine times for 59 yards and one touchdown and caught nine passes for 94 yards...was also a factor on special teams...had 11 kickoff returns that totaled 284 yards (25.8 avg.)...rushed for 15 yards on three carries at Notre Dame...had three kickoff returns against Arizona totaling 81 yards, including a 33-yarder...scored his first career rushing touchdown on a one yard carry in the fourth quarter against Washington State...had a season-high four receptions for 29 yards against Oregon...finished with three receptions for 42 yards against USC.
Graduated from Hart High School in Newhall, Calif…also participated in track and field and was his team’s athlete of the year as a senior in 2006-07, as well as its most valuable runner in 2004-05 and 2005-06...majoring in science, technology and society.
