2007:
• Made the full-time transition from wide receiver to safety and played in 12 games, making a career-high nine starts
• Recorded 41 tackles, two defensive touchdowns, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and three passes defensed
• Was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 14
• In first career start at free safety vs. Dal. (10/8), posted first career interception and returned the ball 25 yards for a touchdown… Became the first Bills player to return their first interception for a score since 2004 (Pat Williams)… Was the first of two Bills INTs returned for TDs in the same game and was only the fourth game in Bills history with two INT TDs
• Notched his second interception of the season and of his career at NYJ (10/28) off Kellen Clemens in the end zone as time expired
• Vs. Cin. (11/4), had a career-high eight tackles
• Scored his second career touchdown on his first career fumble recovery vs. Mia. (12/9), returning the loose ball 20 yards

2006:
• Spent the first 15 games of the season on the practice squad.  Promoted to the 53-man roster for the final game and was inactive at Bal. (12/31).

2005:
• Played in three of the first four games of the season and saw action primarily on special teams, finishing the year with two tackles on special teams
• Saw action in his first NFL game vs. Hou (9/11); played primarily on special teams and recorded a tackle
• Saw action at wide receiver and on special teams vs. Atl. (9/25)
• Posted one tackle on special teams at NO (10/2)

COLLEGE: Three-year starter who overcame injury problems earlier in his career to become the Arkansas' top possession-type receiver… Finished career with at least one reception in 38 of his final 40 games, including all of the 2003 season… Only the 16th player in school history to gain over 1,000 yards receiving in a career… In 44 games, he hauled in 144 passes for 2,151 yards (14.9 average) and 16 touchdowns… Only Anthony Eubanks (153, 1994-97) had more receptions in a career for the Razorbacks… His 2,151 yards rank third on the school's all-time record list behind Eubanks (2,440) and Anthony Lucas (2,879, 1995-99)… his 16 touchdown grabs rank third in Arkansas annals… Led team in receiving for second-straight year in 2003… Grabbed 50 passes for 900 yards (18.0 average) and six touchdowns… Had four 100-yard receiving games in 2003, including a career-high 172 yards on nine receptions and a touchdown in team's 71-63 overtime win over Kentucky… Led the team with 49 catches for 626 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns in 2002, staring 11 of 14 games… His 49 receptions ranked seventh on the UA single season chart while his 626 yards rated 11th… With seven receiving touchdowns, he tied for fourth on the school record list for a single season… Graduated with a degree in business management.

PERSONAL: A two-time all-state receiver and was an honorable mention All-America as a senior at Tilghman (Paducah, KY) High School … made 81 catches for 1,723 yards and 24 touchdowns during his career … played in the Kentucky-Tennessee All-Star Game … finalist for the Kentucky Male Athlete of the Year award … All-State in basketball as well … also lettered in baseball and track … Full name: George Eugene Wilson, Jr. … a member of the 2001-02 and 2002-03 Lon Farrell Academic Honor Rolls … involved in Fayetteville’s community outreach project, spending his spare time speaking and reading at elementary schools.

COMMUNITY: George has been one of the most active Bills players in the community focusing his efforts on education and youth health and fitness.  George has taken a leadership role in combating childhood obesity and has encouraged physical activity among children as an active member in the Buffalo Bills “What Moves U” Challenge.  George helped to introduce the program in a kickoff celebration for over 1,700 students in the Buffalo Public Schools. At the celebration he participated in a “What Moves U” themed trivia show and also shared health and fitness tips with the group of 3rd – 6th grade students. George annually attends the What Moves U fieldhouse party where he talks with students about the importance of staying active and living a healthy lifestyle.  The program is done in partnership with the American Heart Association and BlueCross BlueShield of WNY and stresses the importance of being active for at least 60 minutes of every day and striving to be physically fit. George is one of four players featured on trading cards used in the “What Moves U” Challenge.  The trading cards include health and fitness tips from players encouraging kids to stay active as a part of the Play 60 program.

In 2008, George along with Brad Butler visited a number of Buffalo Public High Schools to speak with students on the importance of education and making positive life choices.  In 2009, the “That’s Life” speaker series sponsored by Xerox was created with Brad and George making weekly visits to Buffalo Public schools to speak with students about reaching their goals and making the most of their opportunities.

George also participated in the Community Ticket Donation Program by donating season tickets to the Buffalo Public Schools. In addition to game tickets members of George’s Jungle were also treated to food and beverage coupons compliments of George.

For his work in the community in the area of youth health and fitness, George was presented with the President’s Volunteer Service Award on November 30th, 2008.  The award is presented to an NFL player from each team who contributes to his community by encouraging kids to stay active and healthy.  George received this prestigious award from a White House representative prior to the Bills game against the San Francisco 49ers on November 30th, 2008.

George along with Trent Edwards, served as the spokespeople for the 2009 Buffalo Bills and American Red Cross Blood Drive at Ralph Wilson Stadium encouraging fans to donate blood by filming a PSA, appearing in print materials promoting the Blood Drive, and volunteering at the event.
