Communications major… Ranked the No. 10 player in North Carolina by The Charlotte Observer and SuperPrep… started two seasons at tailback at Asheville (Asheville, NC), totaling 5,133 yards to break a 63-year old school record previously held by Charlie “Choo-Choo” Justice… member of North Carolina’s Shrine Bowl team… despite an ankle injury, rushed for 55 yards in school’s 13-10 win over Western Alamance in the 2005 3-A state title champ, finishing the year 15-0 en route to its first state title since 1922… as a senior, totaled 1,855 yards on 207 carries and scored 31 times… rushed for 2,200 yards and 39 touchdowns as a junior… named the Asheville Citizen-Times All-Western North Carolina Player of the Year… son of Belinda White.

COMMUNITY

Johnny was an active participant in the Buffalo Bills Toyota Rookie Club in 2011. Currently in its 10th season, the Rookie Club allows the newest Bills players to get involved in and learn more about the WNY community. As part of his involvement in the Rookie Club, Johnny contributed to the Hometown Huddle – a nutrition program where kids learned how to eat healthy and participated in football-related drills. He also volunteered at the Northwest Buffalo Community Center Thanksgiving and the 2011 Holiday Party, and helped unveil the new Youth Zone at the Mississauga, Ont. YMCA as part of the Bills’ Toronto Outreach.
