Played in all 16 games and had two starts in his rookie season. Finished the year with 39 tackles, 3.0 sacks, eight tackles for a loss and one interception that he returned for a touchdown against the Dolphins.

Vs. NE (9/8):  Made his NFL debut and recorded four tackles.

Vs. CAR (9/15):  Made two tackles along with a QB hit and a pass defensed.

At NYJ (9/22):  Made one tackle and one pass defensed.

Vs. BAL (9/29):  Totaled two tackles.

At CLE (10/3):  Posted one pass defensed.

Vs. CIN (10/13):  Recorded one tackle (a tackle for loss).

At MIA (10/20):  Opened the game’s scoring with a 19-yard interception return.  It was his first career INT. Play marked Buffalo’s first INT-TD in a road game since 10/2/11 (Bryan Scott at CIN).

At NO (10/27):   Had an active game producing three tackles, including two for loss and two passes defensed.

Vs. ATL (12/1):  Posted three tackles and a pass defensed.

At TB (12/8):  Totaled three tackles.

At Jac (12/15):  Made first career start and totaled a career-high six tackles.  Added his first NFL sack.  Forced and recovered a fumble in the frist half leading to a field goal to close the first half with a 20-17 lead.

Vs. Mia (12/22):  Produced a standout game with 2.0 sacks, four tackles, two quarterback hits, three tackles for loss and one pass defensed.  Became the first Bills DB with 2.0 sacks in a game since George Wilson on 10/4/09 at Miami.

At NE (12/29):  Posted one tackle in the season finale.



A three-year starter at USC, tallied 163 tackles, seven interceptions, two touchdowns and one forced fumble during his time as a Trojan.


2012: Started all 13 games for the Trojans as a junior … recorded 52 tackles (36 solo), one interception, one forced fumble, four pass breakups and five passes defense … blocked one kick while on special teams duty.


2011: Started for his second season at cornerback as a sophomore in 2011 … overall in 2011 while starting all 12 games, he had 63 tackles, including 5.5 for losses (with 2 sacks), a team-high 9 deflections and 2 interceptions (with a TD), plus 12 punt returns for 132 yards (11.0 avg.) and a 20-yard kickoff return … made the 2011 Sophomore All-American second team. He made the 2011 All-Pac-12 first team … made the 2011,, and Phil Steele All-Pac-12 first team … won USC’s 2011 John McKay Award.


2010: As a first-year freshman, started all of 2010 at cornerback Overall in 2010 while starting all 13 games, he had 48 tackles, including 1.5 for losses, plus had a team-high 4 interceptions with 1 TD, 4 deflections and 1 forced fumble … made 2010 Freshman All-American honorable mention, All-Pac-10 honorable mention and Phil Steele All-Pac-10 fourth team.



Born January 17, 1992 in Frostproof, FL … His cousin is Carlton Thomas, was a tailback at Georgia (2009-11) … attended Frostproof (Fla.) High School.
