Finished collegiate career at Iowa ranked second in school history among tight ends with 117 receptions for 1,476 yards, including 46 for 591 yards and 6 touchdowns as a senior…Led the team as a junior with 47 catches for 552 yards and 2 touchdowns…Spent his freshman and sophomore seasons as a wide receiver before converting to tight end as a junior.

All-district and honorable mention all-state as a senior at Southlake Carroll High School in Texas…Helped lead team to a 16-0 record and the Class 5A Division II state title…Caught 68 passes for 1,203 yards and 18 touchdowns for the title team…Also lettered in basketball…Majored in marketing at Iowa. He and his wife, Alissa, have two daughters, Lyla and Vayda.
COMMUNITY
In his time with the Bills, Scott has established himself as a big supporter of the military. Scott showed his continuous support for the military at the Connecticut Street Armory for the New York Army National Guard Freedom Salute Ceremony, where 116 New York Army National Guard Military Police Company Soldiers returned from their tours in Iraq.
Scott supported the Teammates For Kids Foundation this year by attending their annual dinner held in November. Scott, along with his other teammates, has supported the cause which was co-founded by Garth Brooks and Bo Mitchell 6 years ago.
Scott and his wife Alissa participated in the Night Out With the Bills which is put on by the Buffalo Pro Ministry Athletes in Action. The players in attendance shared stories about their views on faith, signed autographs and posed for pictures with over 700 members of the Buffalo Community.
Scott supported the Play 60 Challenge by attending the annual kickoff celebration held at Kleinhan’s Music Hall in September. Over 2,500 Buffalo Public School students attended the rally and listened to the players give their favorite health tips and compete in a health and wellness themed quiz show. Scott also participated in the Play 60 Fitness Party in December of 2011. Over 300 children from the Buffalo Public Schools came to the Bills Fieldhouse to enjoy the fitness party. Players in attendance discussed the importance of staying active for 60 minutes a day and assisted in running the football-themed fitness stations.
Scott also addressed an important issue when he and teammate David Nelson filmed an anti-bullying PSA for the National Federation for Just Communities.
