Using buffalobills.com
To take full advantage of our site, you must use at least a 4.0 version of a leading web browser (such as Netscape or Internet Explorer). Our site is designed to be viewed at a minimum size of 800 pixels wide, and we also recommend setting your monitor to the highest color settings possible (on Windows 95/98/NT, set to "True Color"; on Macintosh, set to "Millions of Colors").

We use or plan to use the following free plug-ins for a complete multimedia experience:

The site uses JavaScript and cookies; please verify that these preferences are active. Also, we update our pages often so please clear your browser's cache frequently.

JavaScript and Cookies
JavaScript is a program that is integrated into most browsers that allows for cool games and interactivity. Cookies are a mechanism that browsers use to recognize you. For example, when you register for buffalobills.com and login to the site, a cookie makes sure that you don't have to login the next time you come to the site. Both JavaScript and Cookies are usually activated as the default. To check if they are active on your computer, follow these steps:

In Netscape, open the "Edit" menu and click "Preferences." Click "Advanced." For JavaScript, make sure that the boxes next to "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" are checked. For Cookies, check the box next to "Accept all cookies."

In Internet Explorer,  open the "Edit" or "Tools" menu and click "Internet Options" (in some versions, this option is in the "Edit" menu, and in some versions, it is in "Tools"). In the Security tab, choose "Internet." Click the button labeled "Custom Levels." Scroll down to "Cookies," and make sure that all cookie settings are enabled by selecting the appropriate button. Keep scrolling down for JavaScript to "Scripting," and make sure that all those options are enabled.

Cache
To ensure the best possible web experience, your need to clear your cache frequently. Here's how:

In Netscape, open the "Edit" menu and click "Preferences." Click the plus sign next to "Advanced" to see the further options available. Click "Cache," then click the button on the right labeled "Clear memory cache."

In Internet Explorer,  open the "Edit" or "Tools" menu and click "Internet Options" (in some versions, this option is in the "Edit" menu, and in some versions, it is in "Tools"). In the "General" tab, under "Temporary Internet files," click the button labeled "Delete Files."

Multimedia
Buffalobills.com uses many types of multimedia in order to create the best Internet experience. Real Network's RealPlayer is an audio and video player available for both Macintosh and PC platforms. Windows Media Player is an audio and video player integrated in the Windows Operating System, and does not require any additional downloads for Windows users.

To listen to audio or view video, you only need one or the other of these players. We do use video from NFL Films which is only available in RealPlayer format on Mondays and Tuesdays, but on Wednesdays this content is available in both Real and Windows formats.

To play audio or video, simply click the link, either Real or Windows, of whichever media player you would like to use. If the links available are numbers, such as 56K, 100K, or 300K, the media is only in RealPlayer format. Choose the number corresponding to your Internet connection speed. The higher numbers are for faster speeds.
