1. Ed Oliver received this NFL award for his play in Week 13

Rookie defensive tackle Ed Oliver was voted the NFL Pepsi Rookie of the Week after his Thursday night performance against the Dallas Cowboys.

Oliver had two sacks, one forced fumble and one pass defended in the Bills 26-15 victory on Thanksgiving.

Oliver beat out Buccaneers rookie Devin White, the Chiefs Juan Thornhill, the Rams Taylor Rapp and the Eagles Miles Sanders for the honor.

It is the first award of Oliver's career. He is the first defensive tackle to win the award this season. Maxx Crosby of the Raiders and Chase Winovich of the Patriots are the other winners of the award to play on defense.

2. Two Bills make an appearance on the NFL.com top 25 rookies list

With the 2019 NFL regular season heading into the final quarter, NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah reviewed his notes on the season to rank the top 25 rookies in the league. Two members of the Bills 2019 draft class went from unranked previously, into the top 25.

At No. 12, defensive tackle Ed Oliver makes his debut.

Oliver is coming off his best game of the season and he's starting to look like the player I studied at the University of Houston. His quickness is off the charts.

Oliver is in the midst of a three-game sack streak and has 5.0 sacks on the season.

This week Oliver will face Lamar Jackson for the first time in the NFL. However, the two players met in college. In 2016, Houston defeated Louisville 36-10 with Oliver recording six tackles, three tackles for a loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble.

The second Bills rookie on the list is Devin Singletary at No. 25.

Singletary has seen an increase in touches during the last month and he's making the most of it. He is very elusive and runs with more power than expected.

With 75-plus scrimmage yards he can become the first Bills rookie since Marshawn Lynch in 2007 with four consecutive games with at least 75 scrimmage yards. With 100-plus scrimmage yards he would be the first Bill with a three-game streak since LeSean McCoy in 2016.

3. Where do the Bills rank on SB Nation's list of Super Bowl contenders?

Four games left and playoffs are on the line. The Bills sit comfortably atop the AFC Wild Card race and have a chance to clinch a playoff spot with a win and losses from three other teams. Out of 13 contenders for the Super Bowl where do the Bills rank?

From Geoff Schwartz at SB Nation, the Bills are at No. 9.

The Bills are trending up right now, but they don't have the offense to win multiple playoff games. …

However, their defense is legit and that squad could win them a playoff game. As a Chiefs fan, I'm slightly afraid of the Bills coming to Arrowhead in a wild card matchup. That feels like a game the Chiefs would lose in the past.

At No. 9, the Bills are the fourth highest contender from the AFC in Schwartz's rankings. The Ravens (1), Patriots (4), and Chiefs (5) are higher.
