Location: New Era Field, Orchard Park, NY

Score: Buffalo 6, New York 10

Regular season records: Buffalo (10-6), New York (7-9)

What it means:

The Bills will finish their regular season with 10 wins and will play the Houston Texans in the first round of the playoffs.

Below BuffaloBills.com provided a quarter-by-quarter breakdown of the game.

First quarter: Bills 0, Jets 0

The Jets open with the ball and orchestrated a 10-play, 51-yard drive as Sam Darnold goes 5-for-5 passing for 40 yards. Four of his completions went to Jamison Crowder. On 4th-and-1 from the Buffalo 32 the Jets elect to kick and Sam Ficken's 51-yard attempt goes wide left.

The Bills go three and out on their first drive, running three pass plays. Buffalo's defense comes back onto the field without Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano. The Jets punted after four plays.

Frank Gore picks up nine yards to turn 1st-and-20 to 2nd-and-nine but the Bills can't get the first down.

Darnold's pass on 3rd-and-eight is deflected by Taron Johnson and intercepted by Levi Wallace. Buffalo took over on the Buffalo 47. Matt Barkley entered as quarterback for Allen.

Second quarter: Bills 0, Jets 3

Ficken converted a 31-yard field goal attempt on the 11-play, 71-yard drive.

James Burgess picked off Barkley with under two minutes to go in the half.

Neither team was able to do much on offense as conditions worsened with the rain.

The Jets were able to move the ball, totaling 176 yards of offense but settled for just three points as Ficken missed a pair of kicks.

Third quarter: Bills 3, Jets 3

Barkley was sacked and fumbled on Bills drive to open the half. Jets took over on their own 42. Bills offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe was carted off during the drive.

Buffalo reached the red zone for the first time in the game but Barkley's pass to Senorise Perry on 3rd-and-11 was short of the first down. Stephen Hauschka converted from 28 yards to tie it.

Subplots:

Trent Murphy gets to Sam Darnold for the second time, marking his second career two sack game (also had 2 sacks vs. DAL in 2016).

Corey Bojorquez has landed two punts inside-the-20 today, raising his season total to 34 punts inside-the-20. That mark establishes a new team record, surpassing 33 punts inside-the-20 (set by John Kidd in 1985 and Brian Moorman in 2006)

Levi Wallace (ankle) and Ty Nsekhe (ankle) were ruled out for the game.

Frank Gore appeared in his 226th career game, which ties Emmitt Simth for the most games played by a running back in NFL NFL history.
