Tyrod won't practiceTyrod Taylor's knee injury will keep him out of practice here Wednesday. That the word from head coach Sean McDermott.

Buffalo's sideline boss would not provide details on how much time Taylor could conceivably miss in practice this week and still start on Sunday.

"There's no timetable," McDermott said. "I'm not going to get into a timetable on if he practices, if he doesn't practice, what that means. Obviously today he's not going to practice (Wednesday). Nate (Peterman) will get the reps. Joe (Webb) will also work in."

When asked if Joe Webb would also run the scout team as quarterback, McDermott left that up in the air.

"We'll see how that goes," he said. "Both guys are going to work and we'll go from there."

As for how the rest of the week looks for Taylor, who has a knee contusion, McDermott would only say that they'll take things a day at a time.

Other non-participants at Wednesday's practice will be Travaris Cadet, who is in the concussion protocol, John Miller and Eddie Yarbrough.

White practicing, but still in protocolTre'Davious White is going to practice Wednesday on a limited basis, but he remains in the concussion protocol after being on the receiving end of a dirty hit from Patriots Rob Gronkowski that left the tight end suspended for New England's Monday night game against Miami.

"He's in the protocol," said McDermott. "Him being limited is part of that protocol process."

According to the league's return-to-participation protocol, players still in the concussion protocol can participate in practice on a non-contact basis and take part in position-specific activities.

Benjamin and Glenn return to practiceKelvin Benjamin and Cordy Glenn will both be back on the practice field Wednesday, but each will be limited in their participation.

Benjamin is coming back from a torn meniscus suffered in Week 11 that did not require surgery.

Glenn is returning to practice for the first time in more than a month. His last game action came in the Thursday night game against the Jets in Week 9.

"It's a step in the right direction," said McDermott of Glenn. "I'm very encouraged by it. Similar to the other guys we'll take it one day at a time."

The last time Glenn returned from the foot and ankle problems, that have plagued him all year, the offensive staff worked him back in slowly as he played only on special teams against Cincinnati in Week 5 following a two-week absence. Then in the team's next game he started against Tampa Bay.

Rookie Dion Dawkins has performed admirably at left tackle in Glenn's absence.

Charles Clay, Leonard Johnson and Mike Tolbert will also be limited participants in practice.
