5. Bills ready to serve up revenge…

Bills vs. Jags – it's a familiar matchup and one that brings back some recent memories for Buffalo. When Jacksonville comes to town this weekend, it'll mark their first visit to New Era Field since 2016. However, the opponents played each other less than a year ago in the AFC Wild Card round. A defensive slugfest, the Jags came away with a narrow win. With homefield advantage on their side this time around, the Bills will look to get a 'W' and serve the Jags a cold dish of revenge in the process.

The Bills will host the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday, Nov. 25, at New Era Field. In anticipation of the Week 12 matchup, we take a look at the opponents through the years.

4. …With a side of thankfulness

Since he was named Buffalo's starting QB back in September, Josh Allen's demeanor has not changed. The rookie has remained positive, humble and grateful, even through an injury that sidelined him for four weeks. After practicing fully, it's looking like Allen will return to Buffalo's offensive line-up. The first-year pro is just as eager for the chance to help out his team as fans are to watch.

"I'm extremely excited," said Allen. "It's what I love to do, to be a part of this football team and this organization and be fortunate enough to play quarterback for a historic franchise. I just can't wait to get back on the field."

3. 25 hungry for more

It took some time, but Bills running back LeSean McCoy finally found his legs Week 10 against the Jets. The future Hall of Famer helped set the offense in motion before the bye, putting up 113 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the 41-10 victory, and will look to do the same against a tough Jaguars squad. However, this isn't McCoy's first rodeo against the Doug Marrone led Jags. Since being traded to Buffalo in 2015, McCoy has had three run-ins with Jacksonville. Shady's best performance against the Jaguars came in 2016, when he ran for 103 yards and a score on 19 carries. McCoy's effort is not only aiding his team, it's moving him further into the NFL history books. With just 120 yards, No. 25 will move to 25th place on the all-time rushing list.

2. 'Bama boy off and rolling

Shady McCoy wasn't the only Bills offensive player to make a splash in the team's last outing. Bills wide receivers Zay Jones and undrafted rookie free agent Robert Foster also had themselves a day. The two were more than reliable, combining for nearly 200 yards. While Jones' performance was inspiring, Foster's was epic. After getting called up from the practice squad, Foster was determined to make the most out of his opportunity. On the game's opening play, he caught a 47-yard strike from back up QB Matt Barkley and finished the contest with 105 yards receiving. With another 100-yard showing, the Alabama product would become the first Bills undrafted rookie to compile back-to-back 100-yard games.

1. Stuff the competition

This season has had its share of ups and downs, but one thing that's remained solid through 10 games is the Bills defense. The stout unit has been impressive, and downright electric at times, in several categories and is currently one of the best in the NFL. While the group has been delivering as whole, defenders such as linebacker Matt Milano, who is tied for the league-lead with five takeaways, and cornerback Tre'Davious White, who is just one of five NFL corners since 2007 with 100-plus total tackles and five or more interceptions through 25 games, have been leading the charge. When the Bills take the field on Sunday, they will do so with the backing of the NFL's second ranked defense in yards per game. The 'D' has given up an average of just 302 and has limited their last two opponents to 200 yards or less.
