Shovelers working around the clock at the Ralph

shovelers-story.jpg

With the massive amount of snow that fell across parts of Western New York and at Ralph Wilson Stadium over the past week, shovelers are needed to help dig out the stadium in preparation for next weekend's home game against the Cleveland Browns.

Shovelers will be paid $10 per hour, as well as a game ticket based on the availability of the two remaining home games and only after having worked 8 hours or more.

Walk-ups are welcomed, so if you're interested in helping to shovel out the Ralph head to Lot 6 off of Abbott Road and check in at the Jani-King trailer. Alternatively, a shuttle bus will begin transporting any potential snow shovelers from the McKinley Mall entry near the Best Buy entrance and take them back and forth to the Lot 6 entry. The first bus will run at 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 23 and busses will depart every 15 minutes from the mall or stadium. The shuttle will operate until the snow removal process at Ralph Wilson Stadium is complete. This is an effort to accommodate some of the email and phone requests for transporation for those unable to drive or walk to the stadium, because it is a regular drop-off location for NFTA buses coming from downtown.

For more information, email bufrsm@janiking.com, call 716-636-4840, or www.janiking.com/snow for more information.

Shovelers are requested to bring their own shovel with a limited supply at the stadium, and are asked to dress warmly in gloves, hats, boots and a warm coat.

Triple shifts, running 24 hours per day have begun, so if you're interested, grab your shovel and head on out!
