Bills fill final practice squad vacancy

It may have taken a bit longer than anticipated, but the Bills finished filling out their eight-man practice squad Wednesday morning signing free agent tight end Dajleon Farr.

Pronounced (DAY-lay-on), Farr was most recently with the Dallas Cowboys after the team signed him August 10 due to a rash of injuries at the position on their roster. The 6'5" 256-pound tight end however, did not make the team's final cut and was released last weekend.

He's considered more of a receiving tight end that offers good speed and hands. Farr also displays good effort as a blocker.

Farr was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by San Diego this past spring. He finished his college career at the University of Memphis after transferring from the University of Miami.

An athletic prospect that's still developing his receiving game, Farr finished his college career with 24 receptions for 210 yards and four touchdowns.
