Bills Promotion Nets $5,600 for

Ronald McDonald Houseâ of Buffalo

  BUFFALO, N.Y. –A joint Buffalo Bills and McDonald'sâ promotion helped provide a financial boost to the Ronald McDonald Houseâ of Buffalo this past season.  Area McDonald's franchisees have donated $5,600 to the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House as a result of a promotion they conducted with the Bills during the 2006-07 season. Western New York area McDonald's restaurant operators donated $100.00 whenever place kicker Rian Lindell made a successful field goal or extra point. Lindell kicked   33 extra points and 23 field goals during the season, raising $5,600 for the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House. Each donation was announced on the Ralph Wilson Stadium Jumbotron  after each successful attempt. "McDonald's has a long history of being a good community partner," said Joe Ferrino, Owner/operator of the Warsaw McDonald's restaurant and president of the Buffalo area McDonald's Owner/Operator Association, "What better way to raise money for a great organization and have some fun, all at the same time?"

 Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York. "It's always exciting to participate in a promotion involving the Bills."                                       The Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo provides affordable lodging, comfort and emotional support to families of seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatment at area hospitals.
