Bills Foundation Celebrates a Record-Breaking Huddle for Hunger Week for 2025!

To combat hunger in our community, the Buffalo Bills Foundation and Wegmans teamed up for their annual Huddle for Hunger initiative.

In 2025, a record-breaking 65,100 pounds of food were donated to the 2025 Huddle for Hunger Community Food Drive to support FeedMore WNY and its nearly 400 hunger-relief partners throughout Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties. This year's Huddle for Hunger totals exceeded the previous record by more than 27,000 pounds. The annual Huddle for Hunger Drive is made possible through the partnership of the Buffalo Bills Foundation and Wegmans.

The Buffalo Bills, Wegmans, local charities, and our incredible community joined forces at the Huddle for Hunger Food Drive at Highmark Stadium. Bills players collected donations to benefit FeedMore WNY and fight food insecurity across Western New York.

Jamestown vs. Bennett Food Drive (Oct. 3)

The Buffalo Bills hosted a Rivalries Week Celebration in Jamestown on Friday, October 3. The Bills Foundation in partnership with FeedMore WNY hosted a Huddle for Hunger food drive at the Jamestown vs. Bennett High School football game on Friday, October 3. Fans donated nonperishable food items and received a Buffalo Bills Rivalries tote bag at gate entry.

An additional 1,030 pounds of food was collected from Jamestown and Bennett fans.

The Buffalo Bills took part in the Jamestown vs. Bennett High School Homecoming football game on Friday, October 3, at Strider Field. The Buffalo Bills brought the excitement of NFL Rivalries Week to Jamestown, NY with a special appearance by Bills Legend Fred Jackson and Billy Buffalo. This gallery is presented by Wegmans.

Game Day vs. Patriots (Oct. 5)

HIGHLIGHTS

  • $171,656 dollars raised for the 20 Huddle for Hunger charities
  • $121,656 50/50 Game Day Raffle
  • $50,000 donation from Wegmans Meals 2 Go

Pregame Ceremonies:

  • The Bills Foundation recognized the top three participating high schools in the Huddle for Hunger Challenge pregame at the Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots game on Sunday, October 5. Students and staff from Frontier, Cattaraugus-Little Valley, and Alden High Schools received game balls and held the introduction banners.
  • Wegmans Food Markets announced the $50,000 donation from the Meals 2Go promotion to benefit the 20 Huddle for Hunger charities.

Community Visit to Grassroots Gardens (Oct. 7)

  • The Bills Foundation and Wegmans hosted a community visit at Buffalo Public School #61, a participant in the Grassroots Gardens WNY school garden program. Students rotated through stations alongside the Bills and Billy Buffalo to help plant seedlings, sample fresh fruits, and make smoothies on a smoothie bike.
  • Grassroots Gardens WNY, a Buffalo Bills Huddle for Hunger charity, is a collective of activists, gardeners, and neighbors, facilitating the creation and maintenance of community gardens and other public green spaces as a means of healing systemic harm and strengthening community connections.
