We began the show recapping who and who did not opt-out following Thursday's deadline. We heard from Bills TE Dawson Knox as he readies for year two in the NFL. We got into our Friday mailbag and we were joined by ESPN NFL Nation Reporter Marcel Louis-Jacques as we kicked around some of the biggest Bills topics as we approach a unique 2020 season.

We took a look at the player opt-out scenarios as the Thursday's deadline approaches. We heard for the first time from Bills WR Stefon Diggs and teammates Devin Singletary & Josh Norman. Yahoo! Sports' Frank Schwab joined us to give his latest Power Rankings, his 2020 season preview for the Bills, and the latest from around the NFL.

We talked about what we think the Bills mindset should be entering the 2020 season. Executive Director of the Moorad Center at Villanova Andrew Brandt discussed the player opt-outs, how teams may react to an increase in COVID cases, and how the changes to the 2021-2022 cap will affect teams (1:30:25).

We discussed if the COVID-19 outbreaks in MLB should prompt the NFL to enhance their protocols and policies. We also heard from Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds during his media availability (7:50). We discussed contract extensions for coaches and when we think Sean McDermott should have his contract extended. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero shared his thoughts on the recent issues that have arisen out of Washington, the allegations against Woody Johnson and discussed changes the NFL and teams are making to create a more diverse and inclusive environment within the franchises. Pelissero also talked about the latest with NFLPA/NFL negotiations, return to play initiatives and Antonio Brown looking to return to the league (50:48). We talked about which Bills rookies we are going to miss watching with no preseason this year.
