Bryce Brown
The Bills back entered the game a bit sooner than he did the week before and was every bit as explosive. Brown's first two carries went for 14 and 11 yards en route to Buffalo's first touchdown drive of the game giving them the lead for good in the second quarter. He also contributed rushes of 11 and 14 yards on the Bills other touchdown drive.
Brown averaged 5.8 yards per carry on the night rolling up 64 yards on 11 carries. He also proved effective on receptions out of the backfield with a pair of receptions for 18 yards.

Hogan did not turn in a lot of plays, but every one of them was important to the outcome of the game. His first catch and run went for 32 yards as he converted a 3rd-and-3 play at the Carolina 43 to extend a field goal drive.
Late in the first half he made a catch over the middle with the clock winding down and alertly broke to the sideline to get out of bounds and stop the clock.
His last important play he demonstrated solid technique on punt coverage. He got downfield first and instead of flying past the return man, he broke down got his feet under his body and made an ankle tackle with an assist from Jacquies Smith.
Da'Norris Searcy
The safety did not have big stats, but both plays he made were noteworthy. He had a tackle for loss that led to a 3rd-and-long resulting in Jarius Wynn's forced fumble and Manny Lawson's fumble recovery. The offense cashed in with a touchdown. Then on his interception late in the first half the offense again capitalized with a field goal.
