Andre Reed moves toward 2014 Hall of Fame induction

Andre Reed is among 15 finalists for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014, the Hall announced on Thursday night.

Reed helped lead the Bills to an unprecedented four straight Super Bowls. A Seven-time Pro Bowl selection, he totaled 951 receptions for 13,198 yards and 87 touchdowns in 16 seasons, earning All-Conference honors four times with three consecutive Second-Team All-Pro seasons.

Reed is a eight-time Hall finalist who was most recently denied a bid in 2013. He was among 16 nominees with Buffalo ties - including Kent Hull, Cornelius Bennett, Steve Tasker, and Bill Polian - to make the initial list of 126 candidates announced in September, and made the cut to 25 potential enshrinees in November.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame's newest class will be introduced during NFL Honors, which airs Saturday, February 1 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. The members of the Class of 2014 will appear on the stage of Radio City Music Hall in New York.
