The Buffalo Bills and the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms on a trade that will send tight end Lee Smith to the Falcons for a 2022 seventh round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Smith joined the Bills in 2019 after playing for the Raiders from 2015 to 2018.

The tight end's main responsibilities were in the blocking game, but Smith scored three touchdowns and recorded eight catches for 66 yards during his two most recent seasons with Buffalo.

Smith also played for the Bills from 2011 to 2014. He has appeared in 133 regular season games and started in 73.

Smith was drafted by the Patriots in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Marshall.
