Bills and Tops host Bruce Smith appearance

Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills and local hometown partner Tops Friendly Markets, are teaming up to host a store appearance for all-time defensive end great and Wall of Fame honoree, Bruce Smith. Smith will appear at the Tops location at 4777 Transit Road in Depew, from 11:00 a.m. – 12 noon, Saturday, September 20, 2008.

On Sunday, September 21, 2008, the Bills will honor Smith, an eleven-time Pro Bowler and former NFL MVP, by making him the newest member to the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame. Smith will become the 25th member of the elite group at an event during the Bills vs. Raiders game at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park.

In addition to their support of the Bruce Smith appearance, Tops is sponsoring the Bills Kickoff Kid contest. Eight winners have been chosen for each home game of the 2008 season to retrieve the tee after the Bills kickoff the football. Tops will announce additional exciting game day promotions and events leading up to the Monday Night Football contest between the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills. Tops will also partner with the Bills on a special ticket promotion where fans can win Monday Night tickets.
