The Buffalo Bills announced today that they have partnered with Republic Services to be the official waste services provider of the Buffalo Bills.

As part of the agreement the Buffalo Bills and Republic Services will partner to form the Blue Team on game days. The Blue Team will hand out recycling and garbage bags to tailgaters, encouraging them to keep their tailgate clean. This program is one of the steps the Bills and Republic Services are taking to help Ralph Wilson Stadium become a zero waste facility.

"We are excited and look forward to working with the Buffalo Bills toward our mutual goal to make the planet a better place to live through continued recycling and environmental stewardship," said Republic Services' Area President Jeffery Burdick. "Like the Buffalo Bills, Republic Services takes great pride in our ability to provide exceptional experiences to our customers. We take our responsibility to the communities in which we operate very seriously and are completely committed to providing that same experience to the Buffalo Bills and their fans. We look forward to a very long and successful season at Ralph Wilson Stadium." "Having a partner that shares our goal of making Ralph Wilson Stadium a cleaner, more eco-friendly place has always been important to us," said Bruce Popko, senior vice president of Business Development for the Buffalo Bills. "We're thrilled to have Republic Services partner with us on a program that will make the tailgating experience more enjoyable for fans."
