As the Bills get ready to take on the Broncos in Denver for the AFC Divisional Round, take a look at the latest quotes, notes and stats.

Bills prepare for higher altitude at Denver

Heading to Denver, Buffalo faces an external challenge: altitude. While the Bills aren't turning it into a bigger situation than it is, they're still preparing for the difference in oxygen and stamina.

Left tackle Dion Dawkins said some of that preparation included running on a treadmill in an "altitude chamber" throughout the week.

"We go in there every day and I'm in there running, like I'm on one of those Nike commercials with the mask and stuff on," Dawkins said. "The whole oxygen thing is, if you ever seen it, it's just like a room … pumping air in it, almost like a hyperbaric chamber type of thing. That's been a part of our routine this week … I just want to eliminate [the altitude] from anything that could possibly shrink the armor. Just trying to stay ahead of it. Man, we're in a one game season, and I don't want it to [end] because of me."

Safety Cole Bishop, who lived in Utah, said that after being away from places in higher altitudes and returning, he can feel the difference. However, he said he's confident in the team's preparation and isn't worried about it being a major factor on Saturday.

Safety Damar Hamlin reflects on his return from Injured Reserve

Since playoffs started, three players had their 21-day practice windows open: safety Damar Hamlin, defensive tackle Ed Oliver and wide receiver Curtis Samuel.

The three reflected on their journeys and their preparedness in returning to the field when their time comes.

"Obviously, I had an unfortunate, unexpected injury. I just had to go through the process. I didn't say 'Why me?' Not once. I just pretty much looked at it as: let me take this time to get myself together, to try and meet my brothers somewhere down the line where I can contribute to a win," Hamlin said. "There's nothing more I love than playing football with the guys."

"When I first got hurt, I was optimistic. The closer I got to coming back, it started feeling surreal," Oliver said. "I just stayed on course, even when the tunnel seemed dark and the light at the end of the tunnel seemed so far away."

"I get to be out there. That's the most exciting thing," Samuel said. "I take it once day at a time and just to try to get myself in the right headspace … running on my own time."
