Bills atop AFC East

The Bills have some corrections to make in this their bye week following their loss last week at Arizona. But five weeks in the Bills sit alone atop the AFC East with a mark of 4-1 after streaking out to a 4-0 start.

"We go into our bye week at 4-1 and I'm not sure there are many people that thought that was going to happen," said head coach Dick Jauron. "So we'll make our corrections and move forward."

Buffalo will also work to get healthy during the bye with QB Trent Edwards, CB Terrence McGee, FS Ko Simpson and DE Aaron Schobel on the mend.

The Bills begin a heavy AFC slate over the next four weeks with a home date with San Diego up next followed by three straight games against division opponents.

They resume their practice schedule on Monday with a morning workout.
